Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Executive Board meeting was held at PMDC Office Islamabad on 29th March 2018.

Meeting was chaired by the President PHF Brig. (Retd) Muhammad Khalid S. Khokhar and attended by Secretary PHF, All Provincial Secretaries, Ms. Khushbakht Shujat Chairperson PHF Women’s Wing, Mr. Muhammad Saeed Khan Vice-President PHF, Brig. Ghulam Jilani Director Army Sports Directorate & Technocrats Syed Musaddiq Hussain, Naveed Alam & Qasim Khan.

In his opening remarks, the President warmly welcomed all members of the Executive Board.  The President also mentioned that PHF management intends to make the existing system of scrutiny and elections as transparent as possible for the betterment and uplift of the game.

President also explained the reasons for removing Mr. Khalid Bashir, Associate Secretary for continuously violating the code of conduct of PHF and issuing statements against the policies of PHF. His removal was initiated on disciplinary grounds with a heavy heart. The honourable member of the Executive Board unanimously endorsed the decision of PHF.

Scrutiny/elections to be conducted and dates shall be announced shortly. The Secretary PHF deliberated on the agenda points and announced Interclub Championship at district level to be conducted by 30th April 2018 under respective Provincial Hockey Associations.

It was also decided that a system has to be devised for a club to qualify for acquiring voting rights. Certain measures were discussed by the House for betterment of the hockey at club level.

Various other points were discussed in length for positive contribution by the members, which was duly appreciated by the President.

Having discussed all agenda points, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair by Mr. Muhammad Saeed Khan, Vice-President Pakistan Hockey Federation.

President PHF thanked and lauded the efforts of all members and wished them extreme GOOD LUCK.
